Mike Ditka’s Bloody Mary Mix is a premium mixer created by Hall of Fame football coach and Chicago Bears legend Mike Ditka. Designed for bold flavor and high-quality ingredients, it delivers a superior cocktail experience while reflecting Ditka’s legendary no-nonsense attitude. With a focus on health and taste, it’s perfect for crafting the ultimate Bloody Mary.

the goal

With the launch of this new line, the brand needed a dynamic video to showcase the product and drive online sales. They also required something suitable for a live activation at Soldier Field during the 2024 NFL season. Our objective was to appeal to older football fans and turn them into customers with a snappy, eye-catching advertisement.

our approach

We developed a concept centered around a backyard BBQ/tailgate party where Bloody Mike was the centerpiece. We leaned into dynamic camera movement, energetic editing, and layered sound design to bring the piece to life and embody the brand’s bold voice. We also utilized food styling, from the garnishes on the cocktails to the spread on the table, in order to enhance the visual appeal of the product.

the results

The client was extremely pleased with the results. The video was displayed at the Soldier Field NFL activation, and has since been featured on the product pages of Amazon and Walmart, helping to increase awareness and drive sales.
