With over ten years of experience in video production, Miles has been professionally shooting and editing since before he could drive. His extensive hands-on experience has helped him develop strong technical and creative skills, and has allowed him to turn his passion for filmmaking into a career that he loves. Miles began his formal training at the Medina County Career Center, where he studied Video Production from 2015-2017. He then attended Columbia College Chicago, graduating in 2021 with a BFA in Cinema Art and Science with a focus on Editing and Post-Production. In his free time, Miles enjoys working on DIY projects and listening to records.
The past several years at Kent State have kept Taylor very busy in preparation for her career in digital media production. Since graduation, she is now focusing on her work with Plasma Cat Productions including Foley, voiceover acting, and directing. Her experiences over the years include working on films such as Cursing Evelyn, Cleveland Abduction, White Noise, and most recently starred in a music video called “Nosebleed”. Her personal life includes a love of baking and her cat Apollo who inspired the Plasma Cat logo. She has also worked as a scare actor for eight years and enjoys working as a roamer at Ghoul Brother’s Haunted House.
Rachel is a 2020 Ashland University graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, and currently works with students in grades K-5. During this time, she did not have much experience in the world of film, but in 2023 she was given the opportunity to work behind the scenes on her sister’s production titled “The Wish.” While working on the set, Rachel discovered a newfound appreciation for filmmakers and all that goes on in film production. She is eager to take on new roles in the world of film, and appreciates what great mentors Taylor and Miles have been during this process. Outside of film, Rachel loves learning new languages, playing piano, and spending time with her boyfriend and her dog, Stevie.
Apollo has been with Plasma Cat Productions for as long as we can remember. He started the company as a way to spread joy to those who love film and TV. His jobs in the company include eating, sleeping, and playing with hair ties. Outside of work, Apollo’s hobbies include looking out the window for hours at a time as well as being adorable.
